The Ducky One 3 Keyboard Editor 0.5.0 is out.
The Lighting tab shows the effect on the drawn keyboard now, with the same math the firmware uses. With the custom firmware it also runs on your real keyboard while you try it. It goes back unless you apply it.
The color sliders are gone. You click or drag in one color field or take a quick color.
The rest is polish:
- The editor reads a connected keyboard by itself. It used to ask you to connect a keyboard that was already connected.
- All 12 lighting effects show up without a keyboard too.
- Picking an action applies it right away.
- It counts your changes, can discard them and asks before you close.
- Macros read back the way you typed them instead of
{tap:0x28}.
You can update from the note in the footer. The firmware didn't change and it still isn't part of the download.
