The request form
The form saves your title, your message, the tool and the request type. Your name and email are only saved if you enter them. Custom tool requests need an email so I can reply.
I use this to look into bugs, think about ideas and talk about requested work. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, my interest in answering and improving the tools. For custom work it's Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR. Messages are stored in a Cloudflare database that is restricted to the EU and separate from the public website. They are not published and not sent to Ko-fi or any other service.
Requests are deleted after 180 days at the latest. Please don't put passwords, payment details or other sensitive data in a request. If I answer by email it goes through the mail providers named in the general privacy policy.
Spam protection
The form uses a short-lived signed token and a hashed version of your network address to limit repeated requests. The raw address is not stored by the form. These hashes are removed after 24 hours.
Hosting
This site runs on Cloudflare, Inc. in the USA as my processor. Every visit goes through the Cloudflare network. Cloudflare handles your network address and request details to deliver the site and protect it from attacks. That can happen outside the EU. For transfers to the USA Cloudflare relies on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. I don't keep request logs of my own for this site. More in the Cloudflare privacy policy.
Update check in the apps
When you open a tool it asks this website once for the latest version number. That is a normal web request like any page view. No account, no ID and no data about your computer or your game is sent. The app only shows a note in its footer and never installs anything by itself.
Apps released before this address existed ask zzyx.de first and get sent here. That server is run by netcup GmbH in Germany and keeps normal access logs for operation and security. The general privacy policy describes them.
Cookies, trackers and fonts
This site uses no cookies, no analytics and no advertising trackers. Fonts and images come from this site. Ko-fi links open an external service with its own privacy terms.
Your rights
You can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction and a copy of your data (Art. 15 to 20 GDPR) and you can object to processing based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (Art. 21 GDPR). Send a request with your reference number or write to contact@zzyx.de. You can also complain to a data protection authority (Art. 77 GDPR).

(USA) als Auftragsverarbeiter, dabei kann deine Netzwerkadresse auch ausserhalb der EU verarbeitet werden (Art. 6 Abs. 1 Buchst. f DSGVO, EU-US Data Privacy Framework und Standardvertragsklauseln). Das Formular speichert Titel, Nachricht, Tool und Art der Anfrage sowie freiwillig Name und E-Mail in einer auf die EU beschraenkten Datenbank. Das dient der Bearbeitung deiner Anfrage (Art. 6 Abs. 1 Buchst. f DSGVO, bei Auftragsarbeiten Buchst. b). Anfragen werden spaetestens nach 180 Tagen geloescht. Zum Schutz vor Spam speichert das Formular einen Hash deiner Netzwerkadresse fuer 24 Stunden. Die Apps fragen beim Start einmal die aktuelle Versionsnummer ab. Cookies und Tracker gibt es hier nicht.
